Heart's Desire Women's Ministry
Each year, the Heart's Desire Women's Ministry hosts an annual Ladies' Luncheon, Occassional Ladies Fellowship Nights, and our annual Ladies' Retreat.
Our retreats have been help up at Camp of the Woods in beautiful Speculator, New York for the past five years in early spring.
Ladies' Luncheon
Join us Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 12-3 pm for our Ladies' Lunch eon.
We will meet in the sanctuary for some worship, fellowship, soup and sandwiches.
We are excited to have Caren Ruth Avery come encourage us with the Word of God.

A bit about our luncheon speaker:
Caren Ruth Avery lives in Syracuse, NY with her husband, Jim and their three children. Having earned a Master of Science Degree in Counseling, she is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and adjunct professor. Through out the years, she has had the privilege of teaching Bible studies in her home, at church, and in prison ministry.
A graduate of Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, Caren has also served as a worship leader in various churches. She is an experienced seminar speaker and incorporates the truths of Scripture into her talks on mental health issues and personal counseling sessions. Those counseling experiences, combined with her love of the Word, enables Caren to impart much needed encouragement to today's woman.

A bit about our retreat speaker:
Cindy is a frequent speaker and Bible teacher for various women's groups, retreats, conferences, seminars and banquets. Her transparent style, use of humor, and openness bring life to her messages of encouragement and hope. She digs into God's Word for His perspective on life and clearly presents the Gospel message in her topics. Cindy will have you laughing and crying, but her main objective is to inspire people to live their lives fully in Christ and the freedom He died to provide.
Cindy is certified as a Biblical counselor and is a licensed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has served on executive committees for Christian Business and Professional Women and After 5 clubs through Stonecroft Ministries. She is also a Zenger/Miller certified training instructor.
