Every fall the men have the opportunity to go away for a weekend of teaching, worship and fellowship. We bring our own worship band with us and weekend activities include golf, fishing, canoeing and hiking.
This year's retreat will be held at Camp-of-the-Woods in Speculator, NY. The Guest speaker is the pastor of a former Leptondale member, Tom Hughes (you remember Tom don't you!) Pastor Jeff Kauffman, the pastor of Hope Community Fellowship in Addison, VT.
 His theme this year will be:
"Choices Men Make and the Impact to Those Around Them"
(You can choose your actions, or you can choose your consequences, but you can't choose both)
The Study will be based on the Book of Ruth, with highlights from Judges.

 In the Spring, We have a Fishing Trip to the Ausable River near Lake Placid, NY.
This year it was held on June 11-13, and the turnout was great! We had 33 guys come up and had a wonderful time of fishing, relaxing, and fellowship. As Iron Sharpens Iron, this group of men presented a very powerful testimony to others around us (both at camp and on the river). We were also priveledged to be able to attend services at a local congregation in Wilmington (Wilmington Calvary Baptist Church).
The weather was Rainy, but spirits were high! The Food was excellent!
