The goal of the Nursery Ministry is to provide a safe, secure environment where very young children experience the love of Jesus and their parents have confidence in our care. The Infant Nursery cares for children during the Sunday School hour as well as the church service. Toddlers and Preschoolers have Sunday School classes, taught by a teacher, who is assisted by Nursery workers.During the Church hour Nursery workers remain in the room with the children to provide continuous care. Currently we operate 3 separate Nurseries. Infant Nursery
(located in the room to your right after you go down the stairs at the backof the sanctuary) This Nursery is for Newborn -children who can walk). Cry Room Since many newborns may be more comfortable with their parents we also provide a "Cry Room" where nursing mothers may go with their babies during the service. This small lounge is located at the back of the sanctuary. Toddler Nursery
As soon as a child can walk confidently, they can proceed to the Toddler Nursery which is specially designed for walkers and beginning talkers. Special developmentally appropriate toys are available and the toddlers have their very own Sunday School class, taught by a teacher. During church the Toddlers remain in their room with Nursery workers. The Toddler Nursery is located in the community room. PreSchool Nursery Once a child can talk and comprehend they are ready for our Preschool Room. It is the first room on your left as you go down the stairs at the back of the sanctuary. PreSchool children have their own special Sunday School class with lots of hands on activities, crafts and action! During the church service the Preschool class remains in the room with Nursery workers who provide continuous care.
